Robert Gonzales launched his banking career at Crocker Bank in San Francisco, where he served as a Residential Loan Officer during the high interest rate environment of the 1980s. He helped his clients navigate that challenging market, and succeeded by structuring creative financing solutions.

He later expanded to Commercial Real Estate Banking and Public Finance in the Los Angeles area. As a Regional Manager for a firm providing secondary real estate loans under the SBA 504 program, Robert became the top producing loan officer in the United States for five consecutive years and was nominated in 2001 to the Los Angeles Business Journal “Business Hall of Fame.”

Robert continues this drive with Lazerus Properties today applying his decades of experience, expertise, and passion in helping each small business and homeowner to achieve their financing and real estate goals.

Robert holds a BS degree in Psychology and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
