About Jeannette
After a 10-year career as a flight attendant with United Airlines, raising a family soon took center stage in my life. When my children were young, I had the privilege of working as assistant to their school administrator at a private, Christian school in Orange County, California for 11 years.
With the sudden death of my husband of 28 years, I decided to return to a career that allowed me to be involved with the public. As a flight attendant for American Airlines in Dallas, Texas, I had the privilege of being selected with several other flight attendants to fly with President-elect George W. Bush.
September 11, 2001 changed not only the entire world, but mine as well. I choose a leave of absence from American for one year. During my leave, I cared for my elderly father while studying for my real estate license.
I had an opportunity to return to American as a flight attendant, but I had already found the “wonderful world of Reverse Mortgages” and realized the opportunity to help folks alleviate financial concerns was extremely rewarding. Because of the sudden passing of my husband, I experienced the fear of “not having enough financial resources” and I wanted to do everything in my power to prevent others from that concern. My career as a Reverse Mortgage Consultant became “my calling” at that point.
It is my goal to help provide peace-of-mind and add another “option” to achieve and maintain financial independence. Over the past 18 years, I have seen first-hand how a reverse mortgage has been able to make an enormous difference for so many. Whether you live in a very modest home, or a very high-valued home with a substantial portfolio, a reverse mortgage can make all the difference in the world for some clients.
After a brief meeting with clients, explaining the pros/cons of the reverse mortgage, addressing their concerns, I’m always delighted to hear, “this is too good to be true”! I love responding to them…”it is true”!
